In September, I will have been working here for twenty years.
To przykład podany przez CKE w zakresie rozszerzonym. Patrzymy z przyszłego punktu wstecz na czas trwania procesu.
Budowa
Schemat:
will + have + been + verb-ing
I will have been working.
She will have been studying.
They will have been travelling.
Forma jest taka sama dla wszystkich osób. Skróty:
I'll have been working.
She'll have been studying.
Przeczenie i pytania
won't have been + verb-ing
I won't have been working here for long by then.
Will + subject + have been + verb-ing?
Will you have been living here for ten years by June?
How long will you have been studying English by the time you take your matura exam?
Czas trwania do przyszłego momentu
By next May, I will have been working here for five years.
When the course ends, we'll have been studying together for nine months.
By midnight, they'll have been travelling for twelve hours.
For, since i by
For - jak długo?
for two hours · for five years · for three months · for a long time
By six, I will have been studying for four hours.
By next year, she will have been teaching for twenty years.
Since - od kiedy?
Since wskazuje początek:
since 2022 · since Monday · since I started university
By next September, she will have been living in London since 2021.
W praktyce często naturalniej podać obliczoną długość przez for: for four years. Nie ucz się jednak mechanicznej reguły „Future Perfect Continuous = for” - since także jest możliwe, jeśli wymaga tego znaczenie.
By / by the time
By July, I will have been working here for a year.
By the time you arrive, we'll have been waiting for nearly two hours.
Po by the time nie używamy zwykle will w zdaniu czasowym:
✅ By the time you arrive...
❌ By the time you will arrive...
Continuous eksponuje proces i czas trwania.
By Friday, I will have written ten reports. - dziesięć ukończonych rezultatów
By Friday, I will have been writing reports for two weeks. - proces i czas trwania
By June, she will have completed the course. - kurs będzie ukończony
By June, she'll have been studying on the course for nine months. - długość nauki
How many czy how long?
Pomocna wskazówka:
- How many / how much / how many times → często Future Perfect Simple,
- How long → często Future Perfect Continuous.
How many articles will you have written by Friday? - Six.
How long will you have been writing the book by Friday? - For six months.
Stative verbs
Czasowników statycznych zwykle nie używamy w Continuous, gdy opisują stan:
❌ By June, I will have been knowing Tom for ten years.
✅ By June, I will have known Tom for ten years.
❌ She will have been owning the house for a decade.
✅ She will have owned the house for a decade.
Częste stative verbs: know, believe, understand, own, belong, want, need.
Live i work - czasem obie formy
By September, I will have worked here for ten years.
By September, I will have been working here for ten years.
Future Continuous
At five, I will be working. - co będzie w toku o piątej?
At five, I will have been working for three hours.
Priorytet maturalny
Future Perfect Continuous występuje w zakresie rozszerzonym. Uczeń zdający wyłącznie podstawę powinien najpierw opanować Future Simple, going to, Present Continuous dla przyszłości, Present Simple w rozkładach i zdaniach czasowych oraz podstawowe czasy perfect.
Najczęstsze błędy
- ❌ will have been work → ✅ will have been working
- ❌ She will has been studying. → ✅ will have been studying
- Przy pełnym okresie trwania: ❌ By June I will be working here for ten years. → ✅ will have been working
- ❌ By the time you will arrive... → ✅ By the time you arrive...
- ❌ will have been knowing → ✅ will have known
